Prayer is still the most rewarding discipline in which one can become involved to secure miracles. Oh, that we would pray again!

A popular song originally written as a poem by Joseph M. Scriven reminds us: “What a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs to bear, What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.”

The late Evangelist R. W. Schamback would often shout during his speeches “You do not have problems! All you need is faith in God! He would always encourage his congregation to expect miracles, no matter how bad it seemed.

The time has come to pray again! I know some will say “I have prayed before and there has been no change in my circumstances.” That is why I am saying that you should consider praying again! The “again” hits differently when we remember how the prophet Elijah prayed and the rain stopped. He prayed again and it rained, and the earth brought forth her fruit again. When you pray again, be purposeful in exercising your faith in God’s promises and truly believe that He will do it. Pray again! He is waiting. Through this act of faith, God will move in your favor and every need will be supplied.
